Supporting the Chapter

There are a number of different ways that you can support the chapter:

Voluntary support - the chapter could not function without the valuable efforts of its volunteers. Below you will find information about how you can get involved in a chapter activity or voluntary committee.

Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni are invited to offer their assistance to make the Commerce Chapter a vital, forward-looking, successful group serving graduates and current students. Currently many opportunities exist where, while participating in community service for the Chapter, alumni can also gain broad-ranging and valuable professional experience and expand their personal networks.

Such opportunities include:

• becoming members of the Commerce Chapter executive committee and its sub-committees;
• helping develop and promote chapter Scholarships and Award programs for students;
• co-ordinating suggested additions/changes to the chapter website;
• co-ordinating suggestions for, and the organization of, events and functions to involve alumni and students;
• generally helping to 'build bridges' between current and past students of the University, Faculties and the business community.
