Students must retain a copy of their assignment until the final result for the course is released.
The School is not responsible for lost assignments.

All assignment work submitted by students must contain an acknowledgement of originality with the appropriate referencing and citations as a declaration of authorship. The School has standard cover sheets for assignments that contain appropriate declarations. There are two versions: one individual and one group and both versions are made available in word format as downloads at the top of this page.

The Course Lecturer’s preference for receiving hard copy or soft copy via email or the digital dropbox in MyUni will be specified in the Course Outline. If hard copy is specified, please do not present assignments in bound form, but on plain paper with a staple in the top left-hand corner.

When using MyUni note there are two options: firstly “add.” This option allows you to save your work onto MyUni and access it at any time from anywhere. This might be a useful feature if you travel with your job. The second option is “send” and this emails your assignment to your lecturer.

Extensions of Time and Late Submission

Extensions of time must be requested well before the due date and substantiated by a credible health or compassionate circumstance. Requests for extensions must be emailed to the Course Lecturer, or by written request.

Assignments submitted after the due date, which have not had an extension of time approved, will attract a penalty of 10% of the total possible marks for the assignment, for each day or part of a day. This is School policy and it is applied uniformly.
