Elias Farah

Elias graduated with degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Adelaide. He has since been working in Adelaide as a lawyer specialising in Commercial Property Law.

From his experience, the two degrees have been a great backup to have in case he later decides that a legal career is not for him and has seen many friends make this change. But why make Commerce the second degree you may ask?

"As a lawyer working in the commercial field there have been countless occasions where I have been able to draw upon my accounting background to assist in my understanding and work. Much of the law is commercially orientated and understanding the basics of commerce is an invaluable resource to possess. There is no doubt that it has given me an ‘edge’ over my colleagues who do not have the same background studies."
